About WECS Radio

Broadcasting from the Media Building at Eastern Connecticut State University, WECS Radio strives to keep a tight balance between solid programming and free form radio offering the best programing quality for our listeners in Wilimantic, in Connecticut and around the world.

WECS primarily receives and pushes new Rock and indie music, however our DJ selected formatting encompasses all genres of music. WECS also enlists the services of music directors in the Genres of Blues, Alternative, Jazz, Folk, World and psychedelic offering listeners the ability to hear new music in all genres.

WECS also broadcasts 24/7 online opening our listener base to a worldwide foundation. WECS is a community station of Eastern CT and has and will continue to operate as a community service outlet for our immediate community and our newly adopted online community.
